Made of leather, used to attach the armour. It has two eyelets with a 50cm strap pulled through. The edge has small holes to sew it on the arming garment.

This type of representation of the saints was used to decorate private chapels or a prayer-desk.

The picture is made on an oak plank, seasoned and with linen canvas glued to it. Whole plank has been covered with glue-gypsum plaster on which the picture was drawn for the further gilding. The gilding was made with metal particles that are an imitation of gold and give half-mat effect. Egg tempera was used for the painting process and produced with using the original medieval method. It was drawn onto the plank with thin strokes. The painting layer was first protected with egg white varnish. A glaze was put on the gilding.

This is the first type of a doublet. The basquine is longer then in the later type of doublet and reaches the buttocks. There is also a possibility to order a doublet which is fastened with buttons. The doublet can be made only from linen or from wool with linen lining.

Long, loose gambeson with a slit on the back side. Wide sleeves. Standard version includes 4 bindings (leather straps). Can be used as the only protection or worn outside the armour. This type of gambeson was used during the whole of the 14th century.






Long gambeson, patterned on italian iconography. Fastened with 2 buttons, quilted torso (horizontal zigzags), the lower part engraved and decorated with stripes of fabric in different color.






Cut of this garment is modeled on the pourpoint of Charles de Blois, who died in 1364. A characteristic features of this gambeson are very deep cuts on the sleeves and cut off at the waist. Sleeves are composed of several connected components for greater convenience. It is possible to order the gambeson made of linen or silk printed in the same pattern as the original pourpoint. In standard, it's fastened at the front with material buttons.








The main, distinctive feature of this gambeson is the lack of visible padding. All the gambeson is padded vertically to the lining. A different type of padding can be chosen if desired. In standard, it has 13 material buttons on the body and 5 buttons on each sleeve (buttons can be changed for moulded if desired). The outer layer is linen or woolen and the lining is linen. This model can be well used as a quilted outer garment.

Outer gambeson worn on protective armament. It has 16 material buttons which can be changed for moulded ones if desired. The gambeson is very thin; the bottom part (from waist downwards) is padded horizontally and the upper part is padded archly. The outer layer is linen or woolen and the lining is linen. It is commonly found in iconography and dated on the turn of 14th and 15th century.








This type was used in 13th and in 1st half of 14th century. The price refers to a tunic in standard version (one colour, no applications). Tunic is made of wool with linen lining. For extra charge you can order applications or/and order a tunic in more than one colours.

Making long or short distance pilgrimage was very popular in the middle ages. Appart from a bottle-gourd and a stick, one of most distinctive pilgrim's gear is a bag hanging from one's shoulder. The bag is made of leather, it has a string to hang it on the shoulder. width - 44cm, length - 33cm.






For male, loose dress with turnup collar. The robe put on through the head, to be buttoned up under neck. Reaches to the knees. It is made from wool with linen lining. It’s made up of four parts plus collar and sleeves.

Hats were a very popular way of protection against Sun in medieval times. The straw hat is made of typha sprouts. It has a slightly rounded top with oval shape. Brim's diameter: ca. 39cm; Hat's height: ca. 10cm.

A belt made of few layers of fabric, with 30-38 eyelets for fastening hoses. Before the doublet became popular it was probably used to hold hoses or the hoses were fastened directly to braies. Width - 6 cm.






Three simple linen towels. A set consists of a big one (approx. 70x117cm) and two small ones (approx. 70x56cm).

Nailbinding (from danish knitting/needle weaving) - in the early Middle Ages it was very common way of making knitwear using fibres and needle in the early middle ages. The technique is perfect for making socks (or even hoses), gloves and caps.
